Which test is the best to take admission in USA's universities among TOEFL and IELTS ?

i just took admission test for TOEFL at Berlitz n i passed it now the counselor is telling me tha IELTS is better , now i'm confused , which one should i go for??

As far as I've heard, US and Canadian universities require a TOEFL test... It's the European ones that require IELTS. I don't know why your counselor suggested otherwise :o
TOEFL is easier too :/

Yes Sana is right.. TOEFL is for American Universities maybe your scores might be lower than university requirements thats why your counselor suggested you IELTS. Otherwise TOEFL is enough
