Can we pick subjects from any of the groups provided for css or do we have to select a whole group itself?

Can I pick subjects randomly from any of the groups, like, Political Science (200 marks), Physics (200 marks), Psychology (100 marks) and Journalism(100 marks)? Making it 600 marks total as required by css.
